• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

It was pretty crazy... and then there was that one or two times I was billowing black smoke from the exhaust.

Eff that pos, sold it fast

Pulley seized up on the smog pump and the thing won't run at all. Going to find a way to bypass it, he says.
Not sure where the idler(s) are on that year, but it could be as easy as a shorter belt.

.....92-96 truck there...with different doors? Those mirrors aren't typical on 92-96s.
Ford did use them right up to '97, something like every 10th truck (joke). They probably had to clean up the old inventory. LOL

Got my HID's working again, been over a year since the High beams were working. Rerun the relay wires and it all works now. Just noticed one of the relay's does not have as heavy a guage wire as the other one does and so it gets very warm to the touch. Tempted to get a stronger relay to deal with that issue. Mind you I don't use my HID's very often. I only have them for the fog and highs.

Got these two in the mail today. Wonder what they could be...

^goodness in those boxes I am sure.

Adjusted the headlight and turn signal. There was a gap under the pass side headlight and turn signal. It really was staring to bug me.

I am happy with the fitment now.

Thats what I got, can't wait to get them on the car. And I agree, the fogs need the same mod. It would look weird with yellow looking fogs (in comparison)

Also I have an extra set of turn signal housings, I'm gonna make those gloss black on the inside to match the retro headlight housings being black. I assume it will be okay and the turn signals would light up enough. If not I can get brighter led turn signals.

Serpentine Belt routing changed with the body style, 1992. 1992 is when they changed over to the 3G alternator and since they put out more amperage they need more grip from the belt so they put that extra idler in there for more belt contact. They used those mirrors under special order, from what I read. Since obviously they're stronger. If I'm not over here I'm at FSB and I'm a moderator at FTC. Before I got my GP, my truck was my baby. I guess it still should be.
