• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

I remember the ramp days... and the coolant jug with one side cut out for a drain pan. Good N/A memories. Still winging it like a broke ass though.

Scotty I'm proud of ya. Soup O' the Day goes to you for venturing into the mod zone. Sounds like fun, just don't get so carried away that you splat the trans, man. Show us how she runs sometime.

Right now my GTP is getting a proper tire patch after a plug last week from a screw. It did not get washed in July so maybe I can get to that later today. Sure is nice outside. Been working too hard last few weeks to want to work on the ride much. Its been behaving nicely.

i drive with a light foot for the most part. got a Billboost trans tune installed already too. its nice now when the trans takes 3 rd gear @ 25 mph when light footing it. :th_winking:

Looks good Nate, those clouds look familiar lol. Been seeing them all day today and part of yesterday.

I was driving on north ave. last Saturday and saw where Indian trail starts and thought I might see you out driving around in your gp lol. It was pretty nice out. Main thing I noticed is once I got that far up it cooled off quite a bit, no need for the a/c(but got too warm heading back towards the city). I like it out there. I would never buy a house down here.

Thanks. Yeah about 30 minutes after I took those pictures it rained pretty hard here.

Oh yeah dude, once you get out of the city it chills off a ton out here. My house has 6 inch exterior walls and all the interior walls are 2X4 with insulation. It stays pretty cool in the house without the AC on. So far the AC has been on once this year and we never open our windows. Earlier this week the low in the morning was around 48*. Talk about cold.

Man that's pretty cold, probably because this summer has been pretty cool. We have used our ac maybe 15 days this summer which is much less than normal. Saves a lot on energy,I don't mind cool weather in the summer at all. Bonfire weather.

Bonfires are great. I have a big once a week. I pile up brush and logs about 8 feet high and 12 feet around. Makes for a good fire.

Well, I'm happy, but I'm sad at the same time. I have been trying to duplicate the noise the transmission has been making in Park\Neutral, but it never made the noise. Hence why I thought it was the transmission, noise only happened in Drive. Irritating, but no biggie, I have a spare valve body\channel plate to install. I ordered the Transgo Shift kit and a TCC relief valve to put in the other parts for me to swap in later this month. Literally right after I ordered the part I had to go jump start a buddy's Durango, which took FOREVER. Even with my brand new CS144 and all my stereo stuff off it took 20 minutes to jump start that dead battery (I say it has a dead cell). During that time I rev'd the motor a few times to help charge it and magically, the noise happened in Park. Damn it. It's coming from the driver side\middle-ish of the back of the engine, so it's possible it's the transmission, but I don't know. I'll do some more investigating this weekend. Maybe I actually won't have to rip into the transmission. Imagine that!

Who's leg did you have to hump to get this done? Lol. Knowing these transmissions as well as he does, I bet it's an awesome tune.

That's awesome, I do the same thing at my uncle's place. Huge bonfires usually with brush as well, last year I cleared a lot of brush

Thats the second tallest fire I've made (my friend on the left). And from the brush in the second pic. We walked through the river lol

when we were kids we hung out at the end of a dead end in the woods by the river. up the block was the liquor store, and a burger king.

we used to steal the plastic flat crates the bread came delivered on to burger king and burn them muthers lol we had 30 foot flames, and black smoke. this only happened late at night after way to much drinking and usually ended the night when we heard the fire engines pulling up.

Yeah those plastic fires are really hot too. I try not to burn plastic especially if the wind is blowing because of the one neighbor my uncle has. And its next to a main road so traffic will see it. Once at night we did burn some since you couldn't see any smoke and there was no wind, had to back up a bit lol. But I try to keep it just wood and branches. A secret for starting fires is cardboard with a bit of oil on it. Like the stuff I put down when doing an oil change, burns really well

I have been making ATV trails like crazy. So I drag the ATV mower behind the quad and cut all the brush and then going through with the chain saw and cut all the branches that are in the way (sometimes trees) and then go back with the trailer for the quad and pick it all up to burn.

My goal eventually is to get a log spliter and then sell extra wood.

my brothers got trails cut through his property too. lots of work, but in the end its fun.

and this is how to properly start a bon fire lol
