Noticed something yesterday. Put in $25 of fuel in the morning. Figured that would get me through til tonight. That way I can fill up on double points Tuesday.

Driving home.. damn gauge goes full, then half. FAWK!!!! Decided to fill up this morning instead of take any chance on the gauge.

Besides wandering at the top end..it's all over. Likely I should have had at least a 1/4 tank. Let's fill and find out.


Considering it's a 17 gallon tank..lol.

Off to get the part number and order a friggin sender. What a pile of crap these GM cars are, senders go bad after only 242K miles? WTF!!!!!!!!! And I bet the minute I disturb the pump, that POS will puke on me soon. Seriously..I am kinda concerned about that lol .

Dorman part 911008 orders $21 and Amazon will have it to our door on Thurs. Fuggin car is getting too expensive to fix. I think I better dump this crapbox.
 
my needle is off too, it only takes 12 gallons to fill it up from pretty much on E. well into the yellow. or i just gots a huge ass reserve.
 
Driving to the house with a load of stuff wife comes behind me in the GP. She said I'm in trouble. Res back fell off LoL dragging under the car. Time for a repair lol
 


after i changed my rear pipe it kept blowing out of the res, so after the 3 rd time. i used a band clamp, its not going anywhere now.
 




get it stiched it will cost a bit but will be worth it. they will need to flux it and wield it. had that done on a car once and its still holding up.
 
there no guarantee that those are any better im trying to save you a few bucks here lol. call around and see who can re-wield the head up. we have a chevy small block stiched and it was about 500 or so. but i dont think you would be spending all that much on a head.
