Re: 1997 Black GTP, Now Slower, But Yet Faster.

Once I receive everything in the mail, it's all getting welded up together by a buddy of mine that owns a shop.

Bad news though:
Was coming home from work at 8am and slid off the road and hit a sign. Luckily I was going extremely slow. But anyways, after a car wash, I come to see this damage. Could of been much worse, but still sucks.

Nothing is cracked to my knowledge, just some paint missing. I was planning on buying a new front bumper this summer anyways. This will just make me hurry the process.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Now With Battle Wounds.

Got this in the mail today to take place of the resonator. Bomb of Cherry:

Now just waiting on my Borla Mufflers and off to the shop this car goes.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Now With Battle Wounds.

Was just talking to greg about this which is why I need man up and get another bumper to fit the SD lip I have and only use it in the summer haha. After my regal burned down and my GTP got Tboned this one needs to stay nice for once!!!

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Now With Battle Wounds.

Damn that sucks atleast you hood is good they crack easy on impact, a new front bumper is cheap if you go aftermarket. I got one for my red GP for $60 brand new from Keystone, you just wont have the Pontiac arrow head insert, and fitment isn't as good as OEM

The hood is cracked. There is a 5 inch crack right on the nose of the hood. Not to visible unless pointed out. Thinking about trying to find a new OEM bumper cover though, I like my Pontiac arrowhead.

Damage ain't too bad. At least you were gonna replace it anyways.

Yay for loud cars....

Yes, loud cars that sound like Poo. Welcome to the GP world.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Now With Battle Wounds.

Got my Borla's in the mail today. I'm pretty excited to get it all put on. Should sound "okay" for a Grand Prix and look good with the new tips. Can't go wrong with Borla. The car goes into the shop Thursday morning to get everything welded up. Ill also be installing a new ZZP Flex while everything else is getting put on. Might as well since it's just sitting in my garage.
