• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Now Slower, But Yet Faster.

My name is Josh and I approve of this message...

I got something else for us, Joshua.

As another Christmas gift, I received a year subscription to Chilton DIY - Online manual basically, for a 1997 Grand Prix.

Since you also have a 1997, and tend to be working on the car by the end of 2014. We can use this for your car for any installations.

Awesome... I love when I benefit from other peoples gifts ...

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Now Slower, But Yet Faster.

BTW did your MPGs improve with the 195* tstat?

Just a smidge. I get about 275ish Miles per tank when I barely rev above 3k RPM's at all, throughout the week. Baby the car to the max.

I did put my 3.5MPS back on for now, since it's been stupid cold lately, I thought maybe some of my KR issues will be eliminated since I'm basically KR free on my 3.8.

well I'm glad to hear about the tips, will look great buddy! maybe that manual will come in handy for all of us. :)
in fact, if you purchase some membership on gpona, you get free access to gm service manual and i think i'm gonna buy that, it's cheap and i used it a lot when i wanted info, especially electrical info.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Now Slower, But Yet Faster.

Purchased a couple goodies today.

Since I received my G8 tips as a gift and want them on the car, I got antsy and purchased some Borla Pro XS mufflers, and a 27in Cherry Bomb Glasspack to go in place of the resonator.

Yay for still poopy exhaust sound.

Negative.

My tips are a legend in the W-Body scene. It will take a lot to part with them.
