That wouldn't have an impact on the transmission. The radiator is heating it up to the same(ish) temperature as the engine itself. Like I said, it's not bad for the transmission, but it's bad for the fluid. You'll just have to change the fluid sooner than you would with a cooler...with temps like that I'd change it every 30K or so. My transmission has 230k+ on it, so the closer I keep it to 175, the happier she (and I) will be. Here's the cooler I installed on mine, red hose added 153 Horsepower of course:

How long did it take you ? Also what's the cost on these things, im gonna install one during the spring to be on the safe side
I can't see a bad alignment causing transmission temps to rise.
Stress on the trans, idk it was just a theory .
