• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

Had it washed. Hey folks.... coupla questions... Has any one used "Wipe New" on the honeycombs? And if so .. what were the results? Has anyone replaced the honeycombs with chromed honeycombs and what does it look like. Any pix here? Thanks.

Blue is bad you want WHITE.
I am NOT a mech..... How hard is it to install HID's. Is it a DIY job or should I have it done for me... Seem like alotta electrical work... I keep reading about harnesses, ballasts and such.... Is it plug and play or do need to cut wires? I cant even figure out how to remove a license plate bulb.... Is it a twist and pull or just a pull?

Replaced the starter, for the first time since I've owned a GP, this is the first time I haven't had to buy any replacement parts or repairs, she runs perfect after replacing the starter and I'm happy

Kits are easy....retrofits harder.
Classy Pontiac sells new headlight retros for 325, which is a damn good deal

Oh yeah and finally got 30 mpg average on a 120 mile trip.

My only gripe with the retro was beam crossing and the over use of silicone in some areas. But overall no big deal and still a good deal for what material and labor an shipping cost.

Replaced the lower motor mount which was completely toast, now I have no more vibration at idle! Only thing is that when I was installing the new "solid one" it got a little too much pressure on one side and ended up killing it and leaking hydraulic fluid out. So we will see how long this one lasts and see if it gives me enough time to either A) make my own solid mount or B) buy one.

Plasti dipped my wheels black and sprayed a little gold metalizer on them

well its about 270 for the kit from trs and its about 20 hours to make them

Mini h1 6.0 with shroud 120+100 max for new headlights just buy bulbs to plug and play or buy a complete new hid kit for 60max. Misc cost for jbweld and paint and a hole cutter of choice.

I would bet they are not lifetime replacement. They do carry a LIMITED lifetime warranty which only covers part failure, not natural wear.

Our store has a 90 day cheap store brand pad, 2 year wagner quick stop, 1 time lifetime thermoquiets and the monroe are unlimited lifetime. This covers wear. We get more customers than you can imagine because of this. And thus bringing them in for other things aswell. Pads arnt much compared to everything else they buy.

Today I upgrade my ground and charge wire, replaced a vacuum hose that was suspect, and I think I fixed a vacuum leak on my ZZP adapter plate. Torque Pro shows me getting 7.1 PSI of Boost, where before I had 5.8 maybe 6. Does 7.1 sound about right for my setup? I have Gen V (entire L32), 3" DP, and a HAI.
