Dayton, OH meet September 1

If anyone is needing any parts or work done there let me know :D I'm down to make some cash since I'm taking a half day that day and missing out on 4 hours @ $33 an hour.

If my Transmission isn't still acting up count me in for a tune. And what on earth do you do to make $33 an hour?? lol

dsmuts--

Count me in for a tune assuming I can scrounge up the cash, and I got a buddy who isn't on this forum but has an '01 GP GT who will likely want a tune as well. I'll have to pass on the headlight assembly for now though, since it's more or less a certainty that I won't have cash for both the headlights and the tune by the first :(

As far as parts go, if you want to make a few bucks I got a pair of aluminum coolant elbows that need to go in, either at the meet or in the near future. I bought them, I just haven't gotten around to fighting with them yet.

Lastly, you had a pulley puller? If I can eliminate my KR by the time this meet happens, I'm up for a pulley drop. I've got a set of spark plugs that should help me get it under control (if not, then I'm truly at a loss).
I'll bring some tools with me

If you're strapped for cash...and fighting KR...I wouldn't suggest a pulley drop at all, honestly.

Colder range plugs are needed for smaller pulleys...if you can't get rid of the knock with a stock pulley/heat range...then I'd venture into thinking it's other things...a tune-up...a PCM tune in general...more flow mods...etc.

Considering I've already done an intake and 3'' downpipe, my next step is cooler spark plugs, which are currently sitting in the passenger's seat waiting to get done.

Tune is next, and if KR drops to zero at that point I'll drop a pulley size or two.

I've contemplated jerrying my own intake box to reduce the heat that's getting to the open cone.

Dmuts I would have you do my intake gaskets but I know that takes awhile lol. But i got a intense box tune but if you can do a few things on your tune different or better I am in on that I still got my factory pcm

I could do the intake gasket but would prefer to do it at home just in case something would go wrong I have a ton of spare parts on the shelf lol

How difficult is it to do tie rod ends? My car needs them bad.. and the shop wants $800 for it so.. yeah haha. I would need some help with this but i'm not sure what all tools and what not are needed for this.

lol it was more on the joking side but im seriously tempted to come just for ****s and giggles to look at everyones rides

AceGTP--

Tie rod ends, at worst, run you about $20 each, regardless of whether it's inner or outer. Even if you need to replace them all, you're looking at about $70 if you do it yourself:

List: Search for 'tie rod end' | O'Reilly Auto Parts

Bring the parts and I can probably arrange for someone to do them for you.
