• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Yet Another Update.

for your light i noticed that they dont mount flush with with body and that "could" make all the diff in the world.

Two of the four screws on the brackets broke, meaning I have a lot of Zip Ties holding these headlights in. BUT they do seem to be in close position if they were completely screwed in.

Did you guys maybe bump the vac lines for your boost gauge?

Here's the thing. Every time I turn the car on and idle I get 16.4. Then after 10+ minutes of driving, at idle my LTFT's would sit at 11ish~ Odd, I know.

But now, as of yesterday, it's pulling two codes and the LTFT's sit at 16.4 at every chance they get.

Spray and watch your ft's on your phone and you should find your leak.

Pssssshhhhh. To lazy at the moment.

:p

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Yet Another Update.

i really love your halos now! i love em! looks great!

Thanks Boss. I highly enjoy these halo's as well.

Halos look good Dan, is the output OK

Well I am having trouble aiming them. The cutoff is like 20 feet in front of my car. They are aimed all the way up, unsure why they are not adjusting.

But if I figure it out eventually, with the 6k Hids, the light output will be better than stock, without a doubt. The projectors have an actual cutoff, while stock housings is just a massive glare.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Yet Another Update.

Josh aimed mine high as ****. They work great now. Not sure why you cant aim yours higher? Maybe the bit of weatherstripping I have under mine helps a bit with the height too, not sure.

Also welcome to the 16.4 LTFT club. Hopefully your issue is a little easier to diagnose than mine has been.

How about you come aim mine for me? Thanks.

16.4 Ftw. It's a Grand Prix, it needs a Vacuum leak. Every Grand Prix has a problem, if there is no problem, that's a problem itself.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Yet Another Update.

Mines not a vac leak its a fueling issue. 20PSI of fuel pressure FTL.

I still have a bunch of that expensive ass weather stripping left if you want some for yours.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Yet Another Update.

Why thank you.

Trying to have the best look GP on this site.

:th_mischievious:

You're catching up to me, and quickly too. I don't like it.

We secretly have a battle going on here, even though you didn't know it yet.

You got a LOOOOOOOOONG way to go.

And for you Chef, did I say I currently have the best looking? No.

How long did it take to build panda? Many years.

I am not even two years into this car, and going from bone stock to what it is now, I think I am making some decent progress.

And one last thing, I am sensing jealousy in your voice.
