Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Why am i getting KR?

Timing

New member
Mods are listed in sig

Nothing is hitting headers

vac reads 22 at idle
ive seen up to 5 kr
timing is 15* idle and seems to fluctuate up to 32
afr reads 14.9 idle and goes down to 10.5 at wot
temp is 37*f

My gas mileage sucks ass too usually get 9-12 around town

What are you using to monitor those readings?

Does the car have a tune?

I see you have no egr and no cat, both of which throw codes and will affect how the car runs.

Running 91+ pump gas?

WOT timing is more important than your timing at idle, which 15 is like warm up idle low, should be alot higher sitting still when warm.

i use 93-94 pump gas
and i using torque app to monitor
car is not tuned yet
bill deleted the egr and cat codes out
so im hoping when bill does the full tune in a few weeks everything will be fixed

Using a phone app to monitor a car in my opinion is stupid, so right now its really hard to say what the real numbers are.

A scangauge or a tuning software could give us real numbers and a wideband o2 sensor is the only way to figure out real time WOT Air Fuel Ratio.

ya my thoughts exactly, but i havnt heard anything bad about torque so i figured ide give it a shot. Ill compare it to what we read when i go to bills and see how accurate this thing actually is.

Sweet smelling exhaust? Old Bay Seasoning in the coolant/low coolant? These would indicate a failed LIM gasket, which could cause issues with combustion. Maybe pull one of the front spark plugs and check out how healthy it is. How many miles are on your copper plugs? They go bad in a hurry, you know.
Dirty maf sensor.
Dirty throttle body.

Why'd you list your stock tstat as a mod?

lim replaced 3 weeks ago
spark plugs are a 2 months old
maf sensor cleaned every oil change
throttle body is spotless and no egr to make it dirty
coolant is perfect

As long as the spark plugs have less than 15,000 miles on them, I wouldn't worry. We measure in miles, not time (though, I doubt you drive 7k mi a month). They aren't fruit. :p

ya my point is they have been recently replaced, things probly have 1.5k on them

Is your temp reading right? My coolant temp sensor went bad and my head mileage went way down until i replaced it.

found a small leak at front of crossover so ima fix that today and that should increase my mpg a bit
