Zach's new 05 gtp much slowz

Re: Zach's blue 2000 gt coupe

What's does living on a Main Street have to do with it lol. When there's a will there's a way.

Re: Zach's blue 2000 gt coupe

It isn't that difficult man, I mean it will take some time but you don't need like heavy heavy equipment to do it

Re: Zach's blue 2000 gt coupe

That i would probably get in trouble for doing it in the driveway! Lol but yeah i know, just need time!

Re: Zach's blue 2000 gt coupe

I doubt it unless its in the public road...it's on your property and it won't be apart for long. Obviously don't be a asshole and work on it at late times and I'm sure you will have 0 issues.

Stop worrying so much let loose

Re: Zach's blue 2000 gt coupe

ya ur car is clean, i would stick with it, Alot of people dont treat these cars proper because they dont know really what it is. so alot of gtps you find are beat

Re: Zach's blue 2000 gt coupe

I love your advice redcompg! I am hoping, but actually just found an 01 gtp that is supposedly clean so may look at that. But thank you titan, and thats very true, so i try to!

Re: Zach's blue 2000 gt coupe

Well, think i have actually decided to keep her so hopefully more updates will be coming as time goes on. Just a little one for now, I have been having trouble with them getting them to turn out as glossy as i like but turned out pretty good i think!

After:

With the brakes on

Dat ass! Might be the last time she looks like this:th_biggrin2: Hopefully picking up a little present tonight or Sunday, and just to say the least, will be a little more multi colored then just the silver and blue! :th_lipssealed1:

Re: Zach's blue 2000 gt coupe

Yesterday on my way to work my car started hydroplaning because the tires were crap on the bullits so it was time to switch rims because winter is going to come fast

Well as promised here is the update(it speaks for itself, and the deal i got was even better:th_biggrin2:):

The trunk lid was in great shape suprisingly but dont need it, and i would have had it on but my dad insisted on waiting until we got it painted by my uncle

Re: Zach's blue 2000 gt coupe

I think I am going to take the route like you did, spray paint because why professionally paint it if it will take rocks chips and what not? But yes I am hoping to have it top swapped but dont know when! Need the parts first obviously but not going to happen right now because other crap happening. And why, it should be 3 toned? :th_biggrin2:

lol nice, just order from automotive touchup n get clear from them n it'll come out good

Re: Zach's blue 2000 gt coupe

Alright i will probably this winter because im going to take it off. I dont want to be a snowplow or risk it cracking or ianything else! I could do it at a nicely heated place hopefully. Did you wetsand amd all that or just spray it?

Re: Zach's blue 2000 gt coupe

Because why bother if its going to get chipped? And if he will do it for free then i gladly will have him lol

Re: Zach's blue 2000 gt coupe

Use good paint it minimize the chance. Might want to get a price first because after you buy enough for the lip and spoiler I'm sure you could of just had it sprayed and let him do all the hardwork.

Well he is going to do the spoiler for sure or i can have a buddy do it, the lip i may just do myself though.

Yeah for paint you'll be spending 40-50 bucks anyway. I didn't wetsand but I took my time n made sure it came out good! But see what your uncle would charge first, hell yeah. N if it's like 100 I'd have him do it
