Here we go! first are a few pictures of my moms suburban that my dad and i washed and waxed yesterday! Started off with meguiars #3 wax, then went over with #26 wax!

Re: Zach's blue 2000 gt coupe

Thats the thing, depends on if i keep this car, or i am going to buy another so i am waiting to see how it wirjs out, but i had people telling me they would paint it already lol. But yes you do;)

Re: Zach's blue 2000 gt coupe shining!

Well got back in from Florida yesterday and got bored so i pulled out my dads buffer and went to town on my car using some meguiars! It turned out pretty good , just need time to get to do the whole car full out to get rid of the swirls. Hopefully another little update soon! :)

Re: Zach's blue 2000 gt coupe

No update yet, because i have been busy with school every day along with work in any chance of having a break. Today i went out for some pictures and i used swirl remover because it was pretty bad and i think it turned out pretty good!

let me feel low here for a minute :p

Re: Zach's blue 2000 gt coupe

Now you are making me feel like Kory with his spoiler. Still in the same boat as before, looking for a gtp due to not being able to have down time to top swap. Pontiac Grand Prix GTP loaded I came across this in great shape, but it is 5 hours away from me and i am not free enough to drive 10 hours in one day, so still on the look out to see if i find one or just to keep mine and paint it to match! But it the past few days it has ran through my head about just spray painting it for the time being and just sand it down and repaint if i get another gp!

Re: Zach's blue 2000 gt coupe

Topswap it in a weekend. At least you know how your cars been treated and taken car of. It's hard to find a GTP in good condition within a reasonable price.

Re: Zach's blue 2000 gt coupe

I dont have time though, i have class monday -thursday and sometimes fridays, then i work every day over the weekend so i need to drive my car. Then it would still have to be tuned also

Re: Zach's blue 2000 gt coupe

Mailorder tune for the time being.

I'm sure you will eventually have Xmas break or some type of break from school don't use that as a excuse.

Re: Zach's blue 2000 gt coupe

So when are we painting the se lip
Wait so you are going to come help paint it? Lol but hopefully, just never know if i will have garage space because my dad does side jobs here. And yes it is a gt, but i was saying i am on the look out for a gtp, but top swap was an option, if i had/have time.

Re: Zach's blue 2000 gt coupe

Some food for thought

Say $1000 (we call know it can be done for cheaper) to topswap your current car

Vs

From the looks of it your GT is well taken care of so let's say you want a GTP in similar condition. Probably $3-4k if not more.

Plus you don't know how the cars been treated vs your current one you know damn well how you've driven and taking care of it.

Between you and your brother or dad or someone else you can do the swap in a day or two. You don't need a fancy garage hell do it in your driveway or grass etc.

Re: Zach's blue 2000 gt coupe

I recommend to not look for a gtp cause like Red said, you don't know how well it was taken care of, but you know how well yours is, your better off finding a gen 5 or something other than beig stuck with another problematic gtp

Re: Zach's blue 2000 gt coupe

Decisions decisions! That is very true, but if i were to get a gtp i want to stay 97-03 because i like the look of the cars a little better than 04+. I just dont think i could top swap in my driveway because i live on a main road, and i will try to see if i can find a top swap kit and motivate my dad to help with it when we are free, but not sure!
