Your first car what was it? How much u pay for it? (with details)
$300 1994 Oldsmobile Achieva S 3100 v6 4spd auto
Lasted me 2yrs by the end it had a broken frame and was leaking coolant like a fountain, donated it to my former highschool as project car.
it was my uncles car and he was selling it when my mom decided to cut him a deal on it. They gave it to me as a gift " for being a good kid all my life". car sat in my drive way for 6 months taunting me before i got my liscence. i got to where i could drive it and it needed some work done. my boss at the time ( worked at a mobil station.) let me set up an over time payment plan for the ~800 dollars of work i got done on it there.
me and a buddy of mine went out one night and ended up at the high school we went to and decided its be fun to do some donuts in the parking lot, as a middle finger to the school type thing. befor we left i got the bright idea to gun it down the bus loop. I ended up doin like 40-45 into the biggest fkcing tree lol totaling the car.
then i payed my boss weekly for the repairs done to car i didnt have lol, that sucked
but the $4500 got me my gtp, so overall id say it worked out
moral of the story is dont take shizz for granted, evan if it was given to you, or maybe you should? then wreck it and get some thing better? I dont know :th_jester:
1979 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. It had a 305 motor in it, took 29 pumps of the gas pedal and she would fire right up! Leaked everything under the sun. Lots of great stories about that car but it only cost me 420 dollars and ran well for the time I had it.
My first car is the car i currently drive ( only 17 years old) its my 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GT. Has alot of the "supreme" options/ add-ons. I have full radio control on my steering wheel which i must say is a god send! Also have a sun roof which i havent had a problem with yet! Great sound system for a stock car i personally thing. Have a cargo net like thingy to which can come in handy. Paid $3200 from my local chevy dealership, brought em down from the original $4000. Had 153k miles, and its last owner was a chick. I havent had a single problem with the car, well i guess i cant say that. Last fall i had a lot of rain come in over a period of time and the water was getting in under my passenger side. Like under the dash. But as soon as winter hit i havent had anymore leaks! This Christmas i might get a new suspension put in though. Great car i must say though.
1993 chevy s-10. 4.3 vortec, tahoe package. let a guy steal it from me for 600 bucks after graduation so i could buy the grand prix. i miss the sh!t out of it. saw it the other day too, good to know that bastard's still alive and kicking
A 1986 volkswagon golf was my first car, also the car I learned how to drive a manual with. The car belonged to my grandparents, and was frequently used to make deliveries for thier business. It had 220 thousand miles on it when i recieved it. It ran like a champ until the 265 thousand mark, and it decided to take a dump.
1973 Nova, my dad bought for me when I was 14, in 1984, and it was $250, 307 sbc, auto, little bit of rust. I rebuilt the engine, transmission, painted it, did the interior, and then Crashed it in 1988, totaled. Pulled the engine and transmission, and dropped the carcus off at the junkyard.
Dad bought it new, gave it to my brother ~2001, he beat the **** out of it for 5 years, then gave it to me. Managed to get 2 more years out of it (it was rusty as hell and I beat the **** out of it too) then the balancer broke so drove it to the junkyard and got $150 for it.
94 Nissan Sentra (Free). Drove that thing ragged ran the oil out several times and treated it like garbage (wanted a new car)... Drove it or 3 years... Its still running with well over 200K miles lol stupid foriegn cars that last way too long haha
