• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

your first car what was it?

1997 Ford Escort LX Sport.... paid $190 for it only needed a new battery, ran great even after setting for a year and a half. Then after 3 months it dropped a valve seat so the engine was toast. but i still turned around and sold it for $425 lol

#1. Pontiac 6000 LE with ~140K for $700, but was a rust bucket. Used it for 2 years/30K miles before, what I believe was a headgasket. Thankfully a truck pulled out in front of me and I caught his tow hook and shredded up the hood/fender, was totaled and got $850 :th_thumbsup-wink:.
#2. 1989 Saab 900, 185K crashed/deer :th_shakinghead2:
#3. 1998 Dodge spirit, 136K crashed :th_shakinghead2:
#4. 2002 Grand prix, crashed at 24K/$10K in damages... wasn't my fault

(I have bad luck, fyi, been in 9 accidents, 3 of'em I was driving)

Red 92 Chevy cavalier and i raced everything and anyone till the fuel pump went out and the work was worth more than the car was worth so my mom got rid of it. Still one of my favorite cars i have ever driven :driving:

My first "car" was a '93 Ford F250; regular cab, long bed with a 7.3L (diesel) and a 5-speed. It was 4x4, electric hubs, and needed about a quart of oil every time it needed fuel.

I lifted it on 37" Interco Iroks (40mph+ those things screamed), with whitespoke rims that I dug out of my neighbor's yard. I spent 3 days compounding and waxing it until it looked like black glass.

About two months later, my dads '87 F250 had its 351W come unfrikenglued and spewed parts all over I-4. So since he bought me the truck in the first place ($2700) I sold it for $3500 and gave him the majority of the cash to fix his daily driver. I started driving my my mom's old car ('97 Dodge Intrepid w/3.3L) which I have to this day along with my GP.

The guy I sold my truck to totaled it within 2 weeks; he never even transferred the title, so I was called to the accident scene from which the spineless bastard fled (as I was the last known owner). I literally had to breathe deeply to keep myself from crying when I saw my baby wrapped around a concrete pole.

Bittersweet memories...lol

what happened after?? lol

in 1992 I got this 1981 cutlass supreme for $800.
I was just driving and knew nothing about cars other than I no longer had to walk everywhere.

It got stolen soon after, I got it back some time later, but already had some crappy ford car, kept ford, sold cutlass, shows what *I* knew...

1989 **** brown chevy celebrity station wagon, hand me down from gpa. i put a sunroof in, 16" wheels, stereo, intake.... had it for 6 years and had to sell it twice to get rid of it cause the first people didnt put it in their name for 7 months and got it impounded and the notice came to me, resold and made an extra 400 cause the first ****ers thought me wanting fees for having to get a trailer and tow it was too much when they couldnt have got it even if they tried

1980 Cadillac Coupe DeVille was the first car I actually drove/owned. My dad bought it for $250. Before that, I had a 1978 Chevy Malibu that never got running.

1981 Ford Granada. It was purchased a little before I was 16. I was happy I had a car but, it was not a cool car. It was terribly slow with it's carb and straight 6 engine.

93 z28 camaro - 1500
had 175k when i got it and was having coolant problems

lent it to my mom for a couple months and got it back all ****ed up
id still have it today if it wasnt for her :th_shakinghead2:
