I have been around car forums for 11 years. I have seen many posts by kids who their their riced out whip is cool and their reasoning is exactly what you just said and I said the exact same thing to them, that people aren't staring because they think it's cool, they are staring at the stupidity.
 


$9k is a little high on the price. I paid that for my 07 almost 4 years ago. Sure the mileage is relatively low, but it doesn't add that much value, if any.

An 05 is probably only really worth $5k to $6k tops.

EDIT: KBB value in EXCELLENT condition is only around $8000, so they are already over blue book value, and blue book value is high on these cars anyway. Nit pick them down.
