This was the GTP I looked at before mine. The strut towers and body had no rust. Looked underneath and saw some spots of rust starting on the rockers. Too bad because the rest of the car was nice.

That is actually a decent price for a 40th with less than 100k miles. Most of the ones I see have more miles than that and people are asking 6-7k.

You got that right. I looked at a N/A 40th when I was car hunting that was listed at $2900 and had 115k on it. The body on it was rusty and had several faults (peeling clear coat, fenders catching on doors, broken back bumper, etc) and the interior was nasty and the special 40th seats were all worn out and the drivers one was all taped up it was so bad.

So yeah, if I had that budget at the time I would have been all over that one.
