The guy with the ghetto regal gs with bullet holes called today. I had him talked down to 450 (lined up for Friday) but when I asked if I could change the Trans filter/fluid in his driveway, he started getting sketchy about it. That was about 2 weeks ago. Well I had been really nice to the guy and explained quite a bit about his car to him. I wanted the car, but the hassle of towing it for $100 kinda made me 50/50 so perhaps I splurged a little too much info.

Dude dropped his pan and changed it himself today, said it drives like normal again.

Lesson learned? Go with your gut, and keep your mouth shut.
 
yea, i found its easier to just not tell em, theyre loss = yur gain.
not sposed to be the other way around haha

bought a pos 97 gp gt coupe for 600, busted elbows, bad radiator,
kid thought the fuel pump was bad, thought the lim gasket let go,
and apparently never cared to fix the passenger window.

replaced the elbows along with a new water pump, new radiator, new passenger window motor and track
(dumbass gutted everything but the window itself lolz), swapped in a new MAF sensor, and turns out he had the metal intake gaskets installed on it and it was just the front valve cover gasket, replaced tht and ended up selling that for $1500.

sad part is i didnt even want to sell it haha, first flip iv ever done.
