• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

I live in hyattsville, md and I'm trying to find someone to install it for me. If you have any info please contact me

Its really not that hard to do your self. Just pull a few things off the motor, remove cam, replace xp cam, replace parts. Use lube on the new cam and be careful. Oh and dont double post.

i merged your threads and moved them to a more appropriate section. you don't need two threads on the same subject and you shouldn't have put them in main technical sections.

I dont wanna be mean but if you have only done plugs before i dont think you are quite ready for a cam install. I have done a good amount of research now. And im still not sure about everythinh

Agreed^

If you've only done plugs, you are not nearly ready to be putting a cam in your car. Yes, I get someone else is doing it, but do you even know what is involved? What a cam does? What else is needed? Why you want the XP over others?

You need to research more. Google, kid. Google.

i feel its easy but its just a lot to take apart. i guess you can keep track of all the bolts you should be fine

It's not to much to take apart. Front cover, LIM, valve covers. I threw all the bolts into a big bin and didn't misplace a single one.

None taken. I've done my research thanks that's why I purchased a cam but I'm sure it is easy I've been reading alot of post about it and watched a few videos but I just want to learn and have it done correctly.

What part of maryland do you live in? I know a guy pretty knowledgeable about 3800's
