XP cam and topswap on Ported manifolds?

As you probably read in my other threads of questions, I recently top swapped and cammed (xp) my GT. Well the SD headers are out of stock atm, and am curious if i can just port the front manifold myself and do a u-bend delete and be safe until the Headers come back into stock. I'm running the stock pulley by the way. I read on another forum that it should be alright but i would like to double check with you guys first.
 


Don't even waste your time porting the manifolds. So much time and effort into something you're only going to change a soon as SD headers are in stock. Just keep your foot out of it until you get a set of headers on it. Work smarter not harder.

Edit...stock pulley...even with stock manifold you're not going to hurt it.
 


Are SD headers like AR-15's now???? LOL I have a brand new set in the box I'll sale for $1,200... :th_laugh-lol2:

What happened? I ordered mine the first of Feb and they cost $240 shipped... Then they price doubled then poof they are gone... Metal shortage? Importing? WTH??? I know they didn't have a run on them.

I was actually planning on ordering a set next Friday, guess I'm gonna hold off for a while
 
I placed a order for the SD headers Feb 8 my shipping info was voided on ups gave them a call my SD headers are out of stock wont be shipped to my door until March 8 at the lastest really put the brakes to the progress smh

there are several reasons why i'd want to put together a downpipe, cam, heads car, but that's neither here nor there.
