WRX vs EVO vs ATS

Last night I ran a few friends. Obviously my car, 13 wrx, stock besides and intake and catback (no performance gains without tune)...11 Evo X with a test pipe and catback, no tune. And last is my buddy's 13 ATS 2.0t AWD automatic. The ATS I thought would be a better run from 40 since we were dead even from a 60 roll earlier that night.

So without further ado...

And for anybody that needs a hard link..

Good runs, I thought the Evo would pull you a little?

None of you got sh*t on a single cab hemi though.

the STi isn't about the motor...it's about the brembo's, the 6 speed, the 5x114.3 hubs, HID projectors, etc.

try putting that stuff into the WRX without thinking you're an idiot for not just buying an STi. (hint: the transmission alone is worth at least $3k. not including the rest of the parts, just the trans.)

I thought they were more than that...

But even still...point being, if only the motor wasn't a sideways mess-up.

HEY.....I have HID projectors :(....

Anyways, power wise, the STi and WRX are just about equal.

Stock for stock the WRX will pull on the STi, same-ish power, weighs over 150 pounds less, and gearing is longer.

Brake wise, Subaru could have gone a little bit better option on the WRX besides the normal passenger car sliders. But they stop the car good enough. I can do a brembo swap up front for alittle over $1k.

The transmission in the STi is obviously worldsssss stronger than the 5 speed. The 08+ WRX have the stronger legacy 5 speed. Still not the strongest, but can hold a bit more than the 02-07 WRX.

Then the STi has the differential controls and SI drive.
