• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Worst thing you ever pulled out of air intake?

these are all at work

couple dead mice
3/4 of an air filter that the mouse ate up leaking just mesh for the intake
fire crackers

Before i got my CAI i pulled about a 1/4 of a bale of alfalfa out of it. Guess thats what i get for leaving it in the pole barn at my uncles

I had a 95 tahoe sport with some engine upgrades :D I had a ram air style hood on it, I watch a blackbird fly into one of the scoops at 70mph. Needless to say cleaning that mess out was a nightmare.

At the shop once a few years back a turbo diesel Ram came in complaining about some power loss... Found half a screwdriver, with the ass chewed off, down the intake tube... The impeller was mangled, and the plastic handle on the driver was almost gone... We pulled the oil change reminder out of the window... Stuck it to the screwdriver, and got him the hell out of our bay!

I found bits of a 20 dollar bill inside the air box of a friends car. He said he put some money next to the box so the wind wouldn't blow it away and when he started the car it got sucked up and he thought the wind actually blew the money away.

Mouse bedding looked like the inside of a pillow but i think it was squirells because there were acorns in there too

Many things... all different boxes
Mouse fluff
Maf seal (Trapkit's)
Nothing.. no filter...nothing lol
100,000 mile old fram filter (my Regal, had writing with mileage and date on it)
Acorns

Had a bird fly head-on into my WS6 Ram Air inlet (baffles are removed). It lived for a little bit and ended up trashing around and destroying my filter. That was not fun to clean up.

At least I'm not the only one to find pieces of a bird and feathers in mine. Was playing on the highway, WOT and met a bird trying to fly across the highway... poor thing.

I just pulled the whole box, installed a open cone filter, and hosed off the box and put into storage.

Oddest thing before that was a butterfly when I first got the car and did a change out/maintenance check(air/fuel filter, plugs, wires, oil/filter, belts, coolant, etc...). Spread out perfectly across the filter, looked amazing, but kind of odd at the same time.

That was a while back... mostly my mother's hair. She complained about the same symptoms and I just pulled out four dead mice last night. She's running out of insulation on the firewall and hood.

you my friend need to put some poison in your air boxes, then that will stop.

i'e had huge ass rats flop out of compactor boxes while driving down the highway at 65 mph, now thats some funny sh1t to see, what the car behind me must have thought lol

Here you go haters, and this is what he said "(plastic pieces of the headlamp was sucked into the engine through the turbo)"

Silly kids... always trying to go FASTA!!! but never seems remember to upgrade the brakes to go with it.

At my old job a guy came in with a 07-08ish cummins turbo diesel, said it was runnin really rough and wouldn't boost.... the filter got clogged up from lack of service and it litterally sucked the mesh out of the filter, and pulled the clothy fabric behind it down to the turbo... clogged up the tube to the point it would barely run. I wanted to take pictures but there wasn't really enough left to take a good one haha
