The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
The wheels I'm looking at are 17x7.5 5x114.3 +40 offset. Any help would be great, as I'm supposed to look at them tomorrow! Also, anyone know where to get aftermarket center caps at?
Well everyone on here says that the 114.3 will work, which I assumed since it's a hair of a difference from 115. I'm going for looks, I only drive back and forth to work and the store:th_laugh-lol3:
Thank god. I have someone to buy my stockers (only way the wife will let me buy new ones ) and so I've been looking for a set like mad! Know where I can order aftermarket center caps?
jimmyjam33>> if your car is a daily driver, I recommend keeping your stock wheels and tires for winter. Less chance of curbing a wheel and having the chrome pit and peel from salt.
Ok, i'm either getting American racing chrome casinos or ICW black 5 spokes with a chrome lip. What do you all think would look better? They're both 17's.
Well, I'm buying them used, but the person with the ICW's doesn't have a lot of insight such as back spacing, etc., so I'm going with the Chrome Casinos. The sidewall is a little smaller than stock, so I don't think they'll look horrible. Better than stock 16's I see all over town!
I think you are all crazy!! I just went to buy a set of 5x114.3's that came off a mustang. There was no way in hell that wheel was going on my car. I got four bolts lined up with the wheel at an angle, and the 5th was not having it!!
Yeah, that's what I was thinking the whole time. I've had Dakota wheels on a malibu I use to have, so I know it's not that much difference. Totally bummed, back to square one again...
