Will I scrape with these tires/wheels if I lower the car?

I'm new here, I have two GTPs a 97 and a 98. I love these cars!

I want to put 245/45-18 tires on 18" x 8" wheels with 42 mm offset and 6.22" backspacing.

I also want to lower the car with SSC lower springs and new KYB adjustable struts. These springs are supposed to lower the car about 1.25 inches.

Can anyone tell me if the tires will scrape? Or am I going to have to reform the wheel lip or anything else?
 


nope. they will be fine. if you rub, which you probably wont, roll your fenders.

to roll the fenders find a mallet and a heat gun and go to work. heat the paint so when you whack at it to bend over the lip in the fender that you dont crack the paint.
