The IR Titanium in my review wasn't worth it. I traded it in 3mo later for a SnapOn 1/2" impact that has what feels like double the power. Supposed to be something like 1000 ft lb break away torque in reverse.

It has 810, the IR has 780. My boss has been working on cars for a long time, and has owned both of those guns before. He actually likes the ir better, even though the snap on has a smidge more torque, it's also almost double the price. The other major difference is weight, the IR is lighter than the snap on, making it's power-to-weight slightly better than snap-on's.

Yes weight was less. Mine had to be warrantied a week after I bought it. It had some grease issue and had the head rebuilt. Then it did the same thing but was starting to grind and have chatter again. So I traded it in and got $300 trade for it. I've had the Snap On gun for a little over a year now and no issues or bolts it has not been able to break off or get out Haha.

I like my tools from az. I don't break them very often but when I do I have the lifetime warranty. My breaker bar was broke once when my cousin borrowed it and tried breaking an axle nut loose on his truck. Snapped the end clean off but that took a 6 ft bar with 2 guys jumping on it to break it.

Here it shows 810. Weird. My bosses titanium has been in use for over a year now and still works great, I don't think he even oils it much. I've never seen him do it. With me I'm only 19 and at $246 I can't beat it, even though snap-on's is quite a bit more money with a little more torque, I just can't afford that much more for that little more, if you know what I mean.
 
In a nutshell, object lesson learned, I'm not buying anything from Harbor Freight anymore. Craftsman all the way from now on, which has yet to break anything. Or the True Temper's I inherited from the old man, which haven't broken either.
 


My Snapon 1/2" air impact only does like 500 ft lbs. But it was $20 bucks so what ev.
My Snapon 3/8" cordless impact will pull a bolt out torqued to 300 ft lbs.
 
lesson of this thread should be use the tools provided in the trunk of the cadillac with the spare to remove lug nuts and i bet you wouldnt have broke anything.............

I would have but somewhere in the cars life all the tools in it were taken away and lost.. So all I have is a scissor jack and the spare in the trunk.
 


Not a single other car around had tools to put a spare on in it? Im about 99% sure whats provided in a trunk is stronger than harbor freight tools.

Not to mention why in the hell would you use a 1/2 to 3/8 adapter to use a 3/8 drive socket to break lug nuts loose?

Cmon man surely other vehicles are around WITH tools in the trunk LMFAO!!!
 
what do you need? fluids? a c clamp, a deep socket? a puller? a soldering iron? and so on its all in theres, plus a 12 woofer and a amp.


and that cross bar. most of us know what thats for.

my tools are all in them hard boxes. the screw drivers and pliers are on the bottom of the milk crate, theres card board in the bottom so stuff dont fall through when i lift it out. crazy as it sounds, i know whats back there, and where it is.
 
Do you have them tied down. If not they can crush you. Me im thinking of getting a fire extinguisher and a small tool box thats lashed down
 
nothing moves back there its all wedged in there, good, the cross bar keeps them from sliding to the left if they should move, the milk crates are also sitting on old car matts to further secure them from sliding. then in front of all that is the sub, amp and a cardboard box with more crap in it, jumper cables anther tool box of sockets and wrenches and some spare parts.

every now and then i hear the jingle of tools when i hit bumps. other then that ass sag is my only complaint.
