which tire would you guys get?

I have been through a lot of tires over the years. I have to say IMO the Goodyear F1 series is the best. I have GSD3 245/50/16s on mine and they are incredible. Great wet traction as well. A lot of the corvette guys run them too.

I just did fuzion zri's and love them, wet traction is better than any tire I have had before (and I have run most major brands) they were cheap (tires mounted and balanced with a lifetime alignment and road hazard warranty was just over $500 at firestone)

I have the Falken ZE-912s on my Comp G. They have been great in the wet and dry, but average over this winter. Discount Tire had a $100 off sale and I got a set of 4 shipped and mounted for $275.

Otherwise my main experience is with stock replacements and high performance summer only tires (Dunlops being my favorite, Firestone, Nitto, etc.). I have been very impressed with Nexen N3000s as well. Quite cheap and awesome in dry and wet. Never saw snow though, so I can't judge there (maybe the N5000s?).

Wish I could help more. Regardless, all the brands you have listed are pretty decent choices.

I don't know anything about the cost of getting tires mounted or balanced but do you mean it was just over $500 in just that or is that with the cost of tires too? I've heard the zri's are good tires and yes they are cheap so I think that's what I'm going with once I get some money and find some rims.:th_peaceout:

The N3000's are great, but they suck in snow unfortunately. I had them on my car for a lil' while and loved them.

Thats a great deal. GSD3s run almost 2x that for a set of 16s. This is why I have stock rims. Have to wait til I get my use out of them first LOL
