• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

which gasoline brand is better?

Never said it would?

And yeah I was off on the wording on the pump. What you posted is correct.

The way it read it sounded like you had a little bit of hope that it had more octane.

And by not knocking the computer doesn't have to pull wot timing advance and you make more power. So right, running higher octane fuel doesn't make more power in itself, it only allows the car to run properly and make the power it has the potential to make.

Correct.

And on the note of more octane, too much octane will cost you horsepower. Higher octane is harder to ignite, so people who run 93 in a car designed to run on 87 are actually hurting horsepower.

well... i feel a difference with my gas and i dont give a **** what ppl say but check this **** out!!!!!!

The following gas companies import Middle Eastern oil:

Shell.....................................205,742,000 barrels
Chevron/Texaco...................144,332,000 barrels
Exxon /Mobil.........................130,082,000 barrels

Marathon/Speedway...............117,740,000 barrels
Amoco...................................... 62,231,000 barrels

And CITGO oil is imported from Venezuela by Dictator Hugo Chavez
who hates America and openly avows our economic destruction!
(We pay Chavez's regime nearly $10 Billion per year in oil revenues!)

The U.S. currently imports 5,517,000 barrels of crude oil per day from
OPEC. If you do the math at $100 per barrel, that's over $550 million
PER DAY ($200 BILLION per year!) handed over to OPEC, many of whose
members are our confirmed enemies!!!!!

It won't stop here - oil prices could go to $200 a barrel or higher if we
keep buying their product.

Here are some large companies that do not import Middle Eastern oil:
Sunoco......................... 0 barrels
Conoco.......................... 0 barrels
Sinclair.....//................ 0 barrels
BP / Phillips.................. 0 barrels
Hess............................. 0 barrels
ARC0............................. 0 barrels
Maverick....................... 0 barrels
Flying J.......................... 0 barrels
Valero........................... 0 barrels

Well i switched to Safeway cause $0.07 discount/L - but dont think its worth it - worse MPG ever. Stopped using after 3 Tanks.

I use FastGas mostly ($0.03/L card that adds up and then use)

I try to stay away from Shell cause they are usually the first ones to raise prices here, but might give them a try.

Knock free, sure.

I had 4-5* of KR on my bone stock GT with 87. Now tuned with a cone filter race mod and a 180* running on 91...knock free...I still have the cat and u-bend as well.

1-3* KR with a 180, pacesetters, intake and 94 octane.

Whats up? :th_jester:
