Which computer speakers for $40

I need speakers for my computer to listen to music.

They have to have a powerful, adjustable subwoofer and good mids and highs.

I want the sub to be able to shake my room when I want it to.

I was thinking about these three, please tell me which would be the best

Amazon.com: Eagle Tech ET-AR504LR-BK 2.1 Soundstage Speakers with Subwoofer & Remote: Computer & Accessories

Newegg.com - LOGISYS Computer SP8000BK 4.1 Speakers

Amazon.com: Cyber Acoustics 3 pc Subwoofer/Satellite System CA-3602: Computer & Accessories

Thanks

Just do what I did and get an old receiver and a set of speakers and headphone to stereo cable. My whole setup cost me about $15-20 after you add in the cable and the audio cable extenders I bought. From my experience you won't be able to get a good system for your pc that will shake your room as you said for anywhere near that much money.

I thought about that but I think it would end up costing much more. I think id need a fairly new receiver to receive digital sound, then add in a sub and good speakers.

I dont need crazy bass just somewhat impressive. I think the 12" tall sony sub in my basement is pretty good.

logitech THX are the only computer speakers i'd suggest buying.

They're really worth saving up for.

Newegg.com - Logitech Z-2300 200 watts RMS 2.1 Speaker System

Sister has these... they rock.

I had these:

Rage3D - Logitech Z-5300 Review - Introduction

Decent, but i nuked them pretty quick.

Get the Z 2300...

http://cgi.ebay.com/Logitech-Z-2300...A_Speakers&hash=item19bc0c3321#ht_5772wt_1391

$100 isn't bad at all...

Summary is... anything thats not logitech THX is prolly chit.

even the new logitech THX look ****ty... the Z 5500/5300/2300 series were good though.

$40 is about what i wanted to spend, i guess i might should wait until xmas to get them.

I thought the $40 Logisys would be pretty good, they have a 35w sub with a 6.5" driver but the z-2300 has an 8" 120w.

You guys are probably right the little 35w subs will not be good enough. The one in my basement is 8" 75w and i think it is just good enough.

Thanks, ill probably just get the z-2300 or similar for xmas
