My new car has enkei rims and some special lug nuts on it. I did not get the tool, or key that is needed to remove them. They look like a little gear.
Where on earth can I get the tool for these? I need back brakes BAD and I almost cant drive it until I get these rims off!

well, one way to do it is to get a similarly sized socket and hit it on with a hammer and then take it off for good. another way is to go to the auto store and see if you can find one that is the same. enkei doesnt sell keyed lug nuts.

sounds like a spline drive from autozone. go there an see if u can find a set with the same style key an see if you can borrow the key or do what bio said an if your worried about doing it wrong an damaging something go to sears an have them take the locks off. they took my friends off for a few dollars a wheel a while back

send a pic of it, if its a spline drive there pretty easy to find, if its a internal key (basically you need the male side) Then there kind of tricky. The shop i work at does tons of custom wheel packages and i work with a SEMA Certified wheel pro so he can basically get anything, so i may be able to find one and get it shipped to ya in a few days

Cool, thanks for the help guys. Stopped in at a local peformance shop today, but of course they said they couldnt help me get them off. I guess they are called 'spline drive' lugs and the guy thought they would be made by gorilla.
Here is a pic:

ill show this to the wheel guy tomorrow and see what he says, we may even have one on the shelf, i know he stocks a few

Any competent wheel shop in town should be able to get those off easy enough and cheap too. Hell they maybe even have the right key! Check a few wheel shops, someone should be able to fix you up.

Besides, you have the easiest locks to tamper with anyway. If you have a few sockets to destroy, beating on a socket and wrenching them of by hand should work good too...

im surprised someone actually spent enough money to put splined lugs on all the studs. usually you go with one on each wheel and thats it.

i can get one shipped to ya for $14, we just ordered a shipment of those keys in and they will be here tomorrow. If you want one PM me with your address and how ya wanna pay

Cool, thanks man. I contacted the previous owner about it, he said it should be in the car, but its not, so hes gonna look for it. If he doesnt come through, I will hit you up a PM and send ya some money.
Thanks!
