wheels

hello. i'm wondering if there's a way i can make RWD wheels fit on my 98gp. The wheels are actually on an 82gp right now. I took one off and tried it. It seems like the bolt pattern is the same, but the hole in the center of the wheel where the hub meets it seems to be to small. I was hoping i could just get that part machined so they would fit, because these 20s sure would look nice on my gtp.
Any thoughts?
Thx

Sorry....I don't know but you should move this to the tires & wheels section cause your question might not be seen here.
Post it there and you should have an answer soon.

The 82 GP has a rwd offset of close to zero. The fwd has a possitive offset. Even if the center was machined out the wheels would stick out of the fenders. Additionally the wheels may not properly clear the brake calipers. I would stick to a fwd style wheel. The diference in offset should be 1-2 inches.

I already knew that they would stick out a little but i'm not to worried about it cuz the"ll still look pretty good. i'm just really concerned with them rubbing the calipers and/or the springs.

The wheels won't rub on the springs. They will rub in the front fender wells. Additionally this application is harder on the wheel bearings.
