I was looking on a page that had lug patterns and i know mine is 5x115 but it said 99 and on is a 5x100. Is that right. Seems a bit weird. but it also says that all Grand ams were 5x100 and then in 99 they changed to 5x115. any suggestions......THANKS

Another reason why i was asking was i'm looking for wheels locally here in the tristate KY,OH,IN was wanting a set of 18's I got a set of free tires and have someone wanting my factory 16" polished GT wheels for $300. so Also if anyone knows any were aboutts on cheap wheels let me know to...

W-body GPs are all 5x115. The 99+ GAs are as well, and quite a few other late model FWD GM vehicles. I recommend offsets from +30 to +40 area give or take and depending on wheel width. Mine are 18x8.5 with +35 and sit flush with the fender.

Look at local shops, online stores, ebay, the classifieds on the GP forums, etc. Some local and online stores price match, since you'll be getting mounting and balancing locally. What size tires did you get?

225/45/18 not sure if thats the right size if not then ill sell them and buy the right one. I used to work at a tire shop, so i still have access to mounting and balancing myself. My friend is giving me 300 for mine and i cant seem to find anything i like for less than 500. I found these MSR wheels pretty close to what i want, black with a chrome lip. And they are on sale from summit for 105.

The 225/45-18s are kinda skinny and the outer diameter is a little over 1/2" too small. So wheel well gap will be larger, and your speedo, etc. will be off a bit. You could run them though if you wanted, I guess. The most commonly used sizes on GPs are 245/45-18 (closest to correct outer dia.) and 245/40-18 for a little lower profile tire.

Closest other sizes of different widths would be 235/45-18 still a little smaller, but close. 225/50-18, just a tiny bit larger diameter.

I have a set of 18s with tires with approx. 1800 miles on them for sale in the classifieds. Might come down a little, but a little out of the range you are looking at $995+ shipping.

Good luck with the search!

Those rims would look sweet on just about any color GP.
