......would you buy if you could?
Lets say i'm in the market to buy a GTP, what year model would you suggest?

What is so great about the GXP over the GTP...depends on his situation...especially since he titled it which year GTP. I say '98-'02 as most everything is compatible and is easiest to get parts for.

id get a 03 in blue-black

FIXED...and damn right...I love that color...for some reason...I can't put my finger on it...

Model year 2000. Last year for automatic climate control and performance shift button. I've got auto climate on my GT and miss it on my GTP.

The GXP is SICK bc they made a teal '94 model, duhhhhh:th_biggrin2:

i had originally liked the 97-03 model years but now with my 04 i love most everything about it. i just had to get past the whole 4-door thing but now i like the newer ones the best... just stay away from a 97 and 03 like others were saying

In my opinion, looks wise, 97-03 Coupe, because the 04+ are ugly as hell, the GXP looks decent with the big wheels and such, but unless you like the 97-03 with the plastic valve covers, plastic intake manifolds, and plastic gaskets, and transmissions that are made of rubberbands, the 04+ seem more durable.

But like others have said, depends on the situation...reliability, aftermarket availibility, etc.

I agree with the 98'-02' cause if yur drunk and squint really hard....you'll have a GTO....LOL...:th_laugh-spit::th_drunk1:
