for those with 400+ fwhp cars.

What kind of tires are you running on the street?
I have been looking at the BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDW NT

i have read some good reviews on these, but am wondering what you guys are running on the street with all that hp...

well Im modded, not in the 400hp range, but I do run those tires.

Cold, they are a bit slick (nothing crazy), they warm up fast and stick like glue. A bit noisy on the HWY, but quieter than the Goodyear RSA's that came stock. The exhaust / radio drowns that out anyway.

Only had them on a week, cornering is much improved, ride is fine.

245/45/18 mounted on Sport Edition KV5 18x8

With these cars I don't think it really matters what street tires you run, you're gonna burn them off anyway. If you want traction, get DRs or Slicks...

The GF has BFG G-Force tires on her GTP for a daily driver and loves them year round. Thats a very good tire for the money both hands down.

For the track...Hoosier QTP's all the way baby.

I honestly didn't know what you were asking. When you mentioned XXX amount of HP I figured you wanted something that would stick on the street and strip. Thats why I made my statement. If there just street tires walmart tires would work! LOL i'm kidding.

Seriously though, it don't matter how much HP you got on your GTP, most likely you'll have traction issues with whatever you run. I've had 3 different types of tires on my car with my very mild setup and traction sucks.

The G-Force tires are damn good, you'll like them. I like the Traction T/As and I am currently running a set that are V-Rated...
