What temp does the knock sensor turn on at?

I posted a comment on youtube about how the knock sensors on our car don't turn on until 160* and there are a few guys on there saying that i'm not right and they turn on as soon as you turn the key and they are always on. I know I'm right i just need you guys to confirm it so I can prove these kids wrong. Thanks
 


this is true, In the PCM a stock Knock Sensor dosent recgonize KR untill the Temp reaches a certain point. OEM they turn on at 160*. Every tune that i do i enable the Sensor to come on @ 100 *
 
I'm bumping this because this clown still doesn't believe that on a stock tune the thermostat doesn't turn on til 160*

Fawk it...I pummel my car all the time. Engine swap means upgrade...lol

For the record..2003 SSEi blew my first built trans.
