Hey guys. I've got a question. I bought a set of tires for my 18" wheels I got awhile back. I was going off of the stock tire size but I got a set of 22540r18 tires. Problem is they are way small and don't fill up the wheel well to good. I decided to get a better looking set in a few days and was wondering what everyone thinks I should get to fill that wheel well. I kinda thik a set of 245's would work well but I'm not sure. I'm know people on here have run across this problem so let me know what u did. Thanks all

Right on. Well I'm gonna look into prices here pretty soon. Any good ideas of where to get decent priced tires? I paid $134 a piece for my 225's at tires plus

hey whats up guys. Have one question, i have 04grandprix would like to know what is the biggest size wheels i can put on this car. I was looking at 245/45/20s. Can anybody point me in the right direction.

245/45/20 is the wrong tire size (too tall). If you want 20s you will need to run 245/35/20 tires.

I would also like some advice for my GT i have stock 17s and am looking for the biggest size tire i could put on the stock rims without modification. The recommended 225/55/17 thanks again in advance guys.

How much more room do you have if you wanted to go wider? Did you recalibrate your speedometer since you're now running a shorter than stock tire?

Via a DHP powertuner yes.

I ran 275/45/17's...they rubbed a tad bit but I ran them on the daily for well over a year.

How does the sidewalls look with the wider tire?
Can I go with a higher sidewall? Like, 5mm higher

Not if you're trying to keep the cost down. 245/45R17 is a fairly common tire. If you want to go taller to stay with the same diameter as OEM, you're going to pay through the nose to fit a 17" rim.

so basically stick with the OEM suggested tire or go with the 245 44 17s. Thanks man i guess im stuck paying regardless.
