You basically turn this....

Into this....

I do it just as Scimmia described, by removing the torque strut (dogbone) from in between the part pictured above and the engine brackets just to get it completely out of the way. Then with the bracket still attached to the car, put the bolt back through the bushing and tighten down the nut completely. Then I take a flat screwdriver and pry the rubber bushing back just enough to spray some lubricant in behind it all the way around. A little WD-40 works good. Then I put a 15mm wrench on the bolt head and another on the nut that I just put back through the rubber bushing and begin pushing the two wrenches towards the engine. Turn them slowly to make sure you are not tearing the bushing and sometimes you have to work them back and forth a little bit to get the entire bushing to "flip" 90 degrees. Once finished, the bushing is now solid on the front and back which is where the engine puts the most force against them as it tries to move back and forth. Then just take the nut off and remove the bolt, reinstall your dogbones, and you're done.

Guys...

You're ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL Wrong.

You want a perf transmission.

The end.

If not, buy an intercooler then buy a transmission.

Or buy a turbo kit after the transmission.

But again, transmission.

i agree with the trans but im buying my things little bit here and there so that way when i do my trans i already got the intercooler but everything can go on all at once

If you dont want to do that then at LEAST do a U bend delete or get the speed daddy headers.

$205 to your door.

And no, a transmission and a full size intercooler are better things to spend your money on than any headers.

thanks, i already have a supercharger so i dnt need the turbo and ill def get the cold air intake and how much would a tranny be and wich one would i get ?

Also if your going to order online then i would recomend using the vendor websites that specialize in our cars, 3800performance.com, zzperformance.com, pfyc.com ect.

For my spill, guy. Click the link in my signature. If you would have done so like posted earlier in this thread...then you wouldn't be asking these ignant questions. I typed that long ass thread for a reason. To answer people's questions like yours. Now...CLICK THE LINK...AND SIT DOWN FOR 10 MINUTES...and read? Yes...read. Best thing you can do as of now.

NO.

NO. Chip = you taking your paycheck and lighting it on fire. These cars need tuned PCM's.

no chip is a good chip:th_shakinghead1:, just a scam which people continue to buy into, change your thermostat 180* and start with exhaust, exhaust is whats going to help you out the most, personally id buy headers and get them installed itll make more difference then youll believe and you can get them for 200 bucks off ebay.

Changing to a 180* T-Stat without any other mods or having the fans set for a lower turn on point will only net you worse MPG's than anything else.
