I was wondering what sealant to use on the snout and rotor pack. I know its anaerobic but i'm not sure what that means. Is it the stuff that doesn't dry? Anyone have a part number?

I got away with ultra black but i also did let it dry with no oil overnight while i got the headers and everything squared away. one day actually turned into 4 as i went through 2 dipsticks on the header install.

It sealed.

However the proper method is to use is the GM sealant or permatex anaerobic sealant.

I bought a nonhardening sealant. Permatex item number 80016. Would this work?

No...you're looking for anaerobic gasket maker...like this stuff.

after some internet searching it seems that autozone and oreilly's don't carry it but advance does so i guess i'll hit them up tom

ORRR..do like I did and dont use any, and have it seal anyways!

XD, but yes, if Reptile and GR8 tell you something, you better believe it.
