Chrysler K-car forum - **** 4 speed auto went out agian! hpw to swap in 5 speed?
 
that is what i am doing with the lebaron and why i bought the caravan LOL

the lebaron currently has blender full of rocks neutral or reverse

^^^ ain't that the truth. My old passat had the wiring start on fire in it, then all the windows rolled down on their own then wouldn't roll up so i pulled them all out of their tracks and shoved a screw driver in them to hold them up.
 
The 6G72 in the Lebaron is actually pretty different than the 6G72 found in 3/S's. Even the SOHC in the 3/s is different than that in the Chryslers that came with the 3.0. But the SOHC can some some major negligence whereas the DOHC seems to be more picky. Something most point to an improper oiling set up because its almost always #6 rod bearing that spins.
 


right forgot the stealths had the 24v vertion available

i still thought all 12vs had the same basic bottom end?

I had an 08 Jetta. One night the high beams came on and wouldn't go off and the turn signal stalk never worked right again. Traded it in for a 2012 CC and that's been a good car so far.
