• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

I'm not looking for pulley drops and stuff like that. Mainly just stuff to improve upon the shortcomings, and nothing that's not reversible. Besides getting a PLOG and making a fender well intake and Ubend delete, what else? If I get a PLOG I may get the underhood exhaust components ceramic coated to keep heat in and to keep the engine bay looking nice.

Why waste money on ceramic coating when u could use that money for so much better stuff. Yes ceramic coating will look good but there's so much more

Yeah I've read that. I've also read a lot of the headers end up with leaks. This car has 7000miles on it. Don't think it would be cool to have exhaust ticks on the car.

I don't think ceramic coating is a waste. DId it on my GN and underhood temps are a lot cooler.

it's a 2000 gtp. If you guys have other suggestions I'm open. but like I said I need good reliable mods. I don't want to go into the engine and I don't want to affect mpg. Definitely don't want to do anything that isn't reversible. When I get the car paid off I'll be more open to dropping some coin on mods, but until then I just want to upgrade reliability and fix the shortcomings from the factory. I'm already going to order a walbro pump and hotwire kit. The original pump was crap when I went to pick up the car and it currently has a used pump from a rollover, so I'm going to replace it with a more reliable setup.

Those things aren't reliable though. Vendors claim its install errors.

AC Delco pumps are.

My buddy works at a small dealership in kansas. A guy brought it in to trade. He wanted 15k for it. I don't know what the dealership gave him on trade but I paid 10k. Anything that is still nice around here and has under 100k on it goes for 6-7. I sold our old grand am for 1500 bucks so I think it evened itself out.

I really dont feel like dropping 250+ when all I need is a pump. What about those 70 dollar ones the wbody store sells? Are those any good?

Just get a stock replacement pump. The $70 WBS pumps are decent.

As for the rest of the car, just leave it alone. Once you start modifying it, you will have to keep fixing it when those parts fail.

I would just go with regular maintence. Thermostat, plugs, and wires.

With only 7k miles I'd do maintenance stuff before any mods. Change oil and trans fluid. Look it over for leaking.
