What happened to TDC Racing???

You guys do what you gotta do... I just wish he'd come back i have an order to place. I always got along with him and always heard good things. But this isn't looking so good business wise.... :(
 


Nope its not looking good. I just sent out my last and final e-mail to him and if I do not hear back (if i do, i will post a response) I am disputing this with paypal tomorrow.

I think we should change that parts ordered list to people who have and who will be disputing their purchases with paypal.

There is a reason why some things just seem too good to be true.

Well, I tried. His messenger logged on again last night. It was immediately set to "away". I sent a message anyway, but no response.
 
opening a dispute just has paypal email him (good luck there, huh?) They don't really get involved until you escalate it to a claim, which I'll do Friday if he desn't respond to their email.

I never had to go that far, so I don't know how or if we get our money back if he just keeps ignoring them...He could just go set up shop elsewhere and we're all out our cash....

I already escalated it to a claim TDC has until the 17th to respond. I bought another LIM from Morad, it was 1/2 of the price and it should be here "in the next few days." Yup, i heard that from TDC too. funny how he never did give me the tracking number that i requested. Unfortunately, I have a feeling im going to have to go through my credit card to get my money back.

Some things to keep in mind about paypal disputes. You guys have only 45 days after the transaction to open a dispute or you will not ever be able to. Some of you ordered FWIs early in August, so keep that limit in mind. Once you have opened a dispute you have 20 days to escalate it to a claim or else it will be closed permanently.

For those of you that have not had to deal with claims on Paypal. They are pretty quick and painless....as long as both parties either agree or there is indisputable evidence that you got hosed on the deal.

Example:
Good claim- Me being lazy had the same password for my ebay and paypal, so needless to say someone hacked one and immediately had the other. Contected the guy that sold the product, he agreed to a refund and I had everything fixed that same day.

Bad Claim- Similar situation as this, where the person fell of the face of the earth. Paypal pretty much told me that they had no way of getting a hold of the guy and I should have only dealt with people I knew better. So we'll see how this one pans out if I have to file a claim. At least I am only out 75.00 on this deal, it was almost 3k on the last one!!!:(
 
so you never got your 3k back? Also.......how much money is outstanding that is on that list above? That has to be a good chunk of change as well....
 
great over 10 pages of TDC this does not look good! that's a record for me now getting ripped off by 2 gpf members within 6 months. one was by ryangtp89, the evil vampire and the blood $$$ sucking douche. now TDC, you got me parker you fool me!!
 
liquifire- I'm out $500 if FoSho wants to add amounts owed....

LOL I like how all these guys who know him personally dropped off too....

I've actually got a paypal dispute open as well, TDC has till 21st till I escalate.

My stuff should have been here by now, I ordered it on the last week of august. The last time I talked to him on the phone he said that it had been shipped. I really hope he comes back, I would like to continue to do business with him.

I opened a dispute last night and it will get escalated very shortly. Those posts about him signing on to messenger and leaving without even a post on here clinched it for me. Getting this settled is either a very low or non existent priority for him.

Some things to keep in mind about paypal disputes. You guys have only 45 days after the transaction to open a dispute or you will not ever be able to. Some of you ordered FWIs early in August, so keep that limit in mind. Once you have opened a dispute you have 20 days to escalate it to a claim or else it will be closed permanently. So don't just leave it as a dispute for too long. Also note that paypal says that once you open a dispute they freeze that amount in his account so he can't empty it and run (if he hasn't already). So it is a good idea to open the dispute quickly so hopefully, YOUR money is frozen and he can't pull it out. Otherwise even if you win the dispute there won't be any money to draw from and you're SOL.

my stuff should of been here long before any of this crap going on. i sent him my fmhe on 7/29 and paypal him $50 on 8/4.
