• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What do you think of these wheels?

OK, don't hold back, tell me what you really think. I wasn't too sure, thought they were something a little different, but you made up my mind for me.

Thanks,
Ian

So you are the type of person that has to conform to the opinons of others? Why not do what you want to your car and not what others say to do.

God today's car culture is so pathetic, it's all about having the approval of others.

I see no problem with asking others opinions, if that makes me pathetic, too bad. If I have my mind set on something, I will not ask opinions, I will just do it. If I don't know about something, I will ask for opinions.

As for having the approval of others, if I needed it, I would be driving a new car that cost more than I can afford, just to garner the approval of others. I drive a 14 year old car with 228,000Km, yeah, I really need the approval of others.

I clicked on the link in your sig and saw your car, very nice, oh, maybe I shouldn't say that because you don't need the approval of others. BUT, if you don't need the approval of others, why post so many pictures of the work you did on your car? When making a post like that you are asking for people to respond "Oh my, gorgeous car", Wow, great job" or "I'm jealous", you were looking for approval.

No my thread is for information and a means of tracking my progress so when I go to sell the car the new owner can see the time and energy spent on making the car what it is. It also gives them and me an exact date on when certain items have been changed. I also have done a few things others might be interested in doing themselves, so it plays a role in guiding them on how to do those things. I do not seek approval nor have I ever. I have lights in my engine bay some people hate it, but you don't see me taking it off because people dislike it.

Your orginal post was asking for opinions on a set of wheels you were wanting to get for your car. When people stated they hated it you gladly changed your mind to appease the masses.

Actually, what I said was...
Me said:
I saw these for sale (16") and I was wondering if I painted them black to match the car and highlighted the 'Pontiac' in red if the wheels would look good?

I never said I was going to buy them, only that I wanted to know if they would look good painted black on my black GP. I'm not too sure what wheels I want on my GP, so I asked if these wheels would look good in black, people said no, the answer to my question.
