What do you think of these wheels?

I have a 98 GP GT with stock 16" wheels...

I saw these for sale (16") and I was wondering if I painted them black to match the car and highlighted the 'Pontiac' in red if the wheels would look good?

Those are really ugly. The ones you have right now are the same as mine, they are nice.

Honestly you'd be better off with the tri spokes like I have if you want that style, they look halfway decent on my car at least.

You asked lol. The 1st Gen W-body 5 spokes are 16" and look great on these cars with their offset.

These rims are called torque stars. They weren't limited to gtp's. My gt has them, and i think in 03 they put them on se, gt and gtp trim

I would keep the stock wheels you have on now and just sand and paint them. I have 2 here that I started to sand but couldn't find another 2 to make a set. I no longer have the car but don't know if I want to sell them. They are my 2nd favorite wheels for a 97-03. My first favorite being the color matched 93 Bonneville SSE wheels that I bought off of one of my friends that he got color matched to his car. His car was bronzemist as well so they matched pretty good. The car is around my town with the bonneville wheels on it still. I should have kept them and put another set I had on.


^ and yes those wheels came on all models of the gp in 2003 iirc. the newer se's around here have either the torque stars or wide 5 spokes like the ops first pic post.
