What do you hate about Thanksgiving?

i hate the hangover from going out the night before. thanksgiving eve is the biggest party night of the year!
 


Only thing i dont like all that much is I do 90% of the cooking other then that its a blast we do a quiet meal early for my wifes fam then around 6pm my fam comes and its on live music we fry around 5 birds and a prime rib and theres like 50-60 people here having a blast
 


I hate that now the holiday is hardly recognized compared to when I was little. Anymore it seems like its almost skipped and everyone jumps straight to Christmas.

terrible, right? it's really bad because for 5 1/2 hours i have to stand in one place and act like I care if the customer has a good thanksgiving :th_angry-teeth:

EXACTLY. Retail blows ass holes.

Stand there, boredly, and awkwardly:
Me: "Hi, did you find everything alright?"
then you get the "yeah" or the occasional problem that pisses you off more.

Then ring them out, and they say "oh here I'll get you exact change..." And they dig in their pockets or purses for 46 minutes while you stand there aimlessly contemplating suicide.

That sound about right? lol I could go on more if you'd like.
 
Shoot the 3 thanksgivings i worked at Dennys as a cook/server/manager
Nothing brings out the worst in people like hunger lines and the holidays

X2 on the ****ty family of the stepdad.
-1 on being stoned through the whole thing unfortunately. We used to have family thanksgiving at my uncles mansion with a built in movie theater and bowling alley with a bunch of fun people, now we go these people's 1 bedroom house where everyone talks through the hole in their throats and the only people there around my age are emo fags.

Yep, and I'm the one who's put with this abuse for 11 years. If the money wasn't so good I'd find something else.
