Hey guys i "MIGHT" get a 1999 Grand Prix GTP and the guy im buying it from has these mods in it (Headers, ported blower with a 3.2" blower pulley,Comp XP-Cam with upgraded 105lb springs,LS1 throttle body,85Maf sensor,Cold air intake,3" x-haust,MSD igniton wires,Tuned,42lb injectors,Transmission shift kit ) he also has some other little stuff liKe to Keep the fans running longer and a voltage booster, transmission gadget and a couple little more things. Would you all buy this for 4,950??

do you WANT a car thats been modded that much with someone elses personal touches? i wouldnt, but other than that it doesnt seem like a bad deal so long as the motor/transmission are healthy (stock transmission on those mods isnt going to last long).

I would never buy an extensively modded car. Buy a stock one build it yourself and know what all is going on in it.

IDK, depending on the mileage of the car and how new the parts are, you'll know if it is worth it. Personally I wouldn't get a car with major upgrades simply because I don't know who he took it too, if they were done right blah blah blah. Better to know I did it, and that's another thing, You can't say you put all that in there when you show people your car... even though I know some people that do, and that's pretty low.
ehh just my opinion

Sounds like he has all the right mods, the transmission may not last if you beat on it though. More than likely he's on one of these forums, find out his name or screen name and do some searching. When I bought my car from another clubp member, I checked his posts and could see any problem he posted about with the car...

it has 186,000 miles and yea i see what you mean about building it up and stuff but it taKes long lol i already did that with my 1993 Camaro then my 2000 stang so yea. Kinda dont wanna go through the time again lol but i honestly just might

Always better to do it your self then you know its done how you want it
Personally i would never buy a modded car cause you dont know how hard it was beat on

do you have proof of all these mods. would worry me with the mileage and how hard has it been beat on bio is right lot of miles.

I would do it, but i also work on my cars by myself and have went to school for it.
If you have little to no knowledge- No, if you have ASE or have extensive knowledge on automobiles- Yes
Would make a good Mechanics Special / Weekender

i'd be a little weary on this one. sure u can save some $$$ on mods but who did, how did they build it? ticking timebobmb?? can u scan it?
