What did you do to your Car today?

how hard is it to get the code tuned out? just bring it to the dealership and they can tune it out or how does that work? that is a concern with me, cause i want to put in a bigger exhaust because if i do that i'm sure my emissions control will start throwing codes out and then the car won't run quite right.

You wont outflow your stock exhaust, so its not worth it to remove the cat and increase the piping size. If you were to do anything just swap mufflers for a sound change.

And the code would have to "tuned" out, "shut off" via tuning software like HP Tuners, a dealership cannot do this for you.

Also, with the stoners, I find that the windows stay cleaner longer. Which is nice in the winter when its to cold to wash the glass.
But it could also be because I'm the only one that ever is in the car and I don't touch windows...but they seem to not get fogged up or anything near as bad as when I was using other types of cleaner.

Cool, thats why i wanted to get a good cleaner so that the window stays really clean. Had the window very dirty for weeks and gets hard to see at night with cars headlights glare. Thanks for advice ill check it out at my local autozone

Got aluminum coolant elbows to fix seeping coolant from upper elbow. Will do tonight or early am.
I am interested in selling this car very soon it has 75000 miles on it very clean car $8000 firm.

I would rethink that price if you want to have any buyers even investigate into the vehicle. That's steep as hell for a 2001 with 75k.

you have a tuner? or know anyone?

Danielle if you buy that dp you could probably sell your car from the car for around $75

I can't buy it till at least next weekend, so if its still around I might. I gotta drive an hour for it tho, I imagine shipping wouldn't be cheap on it.

replaced stripped (rounded off) bleeder screw on the caliper last night so I have full breaking now. it feels like a new truck...except for the terrible exhaust drone.

And I bet you see those cars never selling too. A private seller will never get the same as a dealer out of a car.

Truth. Plus, let's think about what the dealership paid for that...3000-3500 tops for a trade in. You can get a fourth gen Camaro with ~100k for 8 grand and it'll be an Ls1 AND RWD. Ain't nobody got time for 8,000 on a GP
