Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

Don't hate me, but at those speeds, it was likely blunt force or bones that did most of that damage, the flesh would have been nothing to the force of your car hitting the dog, poor thing would have been broken beyond repair... likely in pieces after being rolled over. It didn't feel much.

I know the pain tho, from both sides. My responsibility failed at 18 and I let my 2 yr old buddy out with me and he darted out the door and across the yard, he stopped by the road but when I called him to come back he turned and ran away... into traffic. Horror is watching your pup get ran over by a truck speeding at those speeds and knowing you have to go get him and put him into ground. I missed work that day, cried most of it (not proud but that was my best friend), but he deserved well. He was a good dog.
I have also been on the O NO end of the steering wheel watching it come out and knowing a swerve is endangering myself, my car, and my friends/girlfriend... poor dog, sorry.

It sux, but you did the right thing. Nothing else could have been done.

since we're talking bout dogs.... i grew up next to the interstate ..... family had an old black lab that was so old he couldn't open his mouth and we had to put him down... after, we got a yellow lab from a friend that couldn't have him in town so we adopted him.. lab turned into my best friend... but one day he decided to explore the interstate... i ran up the bank after seeing him and sure enough a car was was passing and Trigger (my dog) froze right in the middle and there i am standing in the ditch seeing my poor dog get demolished by a piece of **** Saturn.... and the bastard didn't even stop or anything.. I'm still scarred to this day...

walked up to it.
unlocked it.
popped the hood.
topped off the coolant and washerfluid.
closed the hood.
locked it.
and walked away.

Driving the truck tonight.

This thread is too sad now..

Mine took me to school, I cranked the subs on the other side of the parking lot from everyone. Got the broken pieces of my bumper to rattle. #Win.

Got a line on another bumper for 75 bucks, lulz.

If I ever hit a dog and it did damage to my car you better believe I'd stop find the owner and make them pay for the damage. It's the owners responsibility to keep an eye on the animal.

I filled the gtp up with gas in IN for $.20 less a gallon then it was over here. Thats the only good thing about having to drive an hour to drop my son off at his moms. I'm also getting my comp g dropped off tom :D title issue is resolved.

I would have, but I was trying to get home and the nearest town was 30 miles away east or west. Middle of nowhere. You do have a very valid point though.

My buddies wife hit a st bernard and it tore her bumper off, bent the fender, and the dog bit the tire and popped it on her gp. She could drive it anywhere so she went up to the owners house (she knew who it was because the dog ran up and laid on the porch) the owners had to pay for everything and she was pretty happy about that.

What a sad topic. Moving on...

Lately since I've been down here at my gma's until I go to MI I've been doing all kinda stuff with the car. As you probably don't know, me and mr. palm have a thing where we buy each other car parts, it evens out eventually but it's always nice to receive something you didn't directly buy. Idk. Random idea we had and it has worked.

Anyway, the aem filters suck when washing them so I replaced with a red spectre. Then, I put on the two new gpf stickers Matt got me. One on the windshield (moved from corner to center) and one under the hood. Got my Dorman sway bar in the mail along with the moog end links and bushings. Got some aluminum coolant elbows. Installed the volt booster seen a 0.4v increase up to 14.8 I believe. Oil change. Put in some fresh head lights (not new but close). Most of it's not in the pictures but... I thought I should give ya what I got. Yeah.. and idk if I even mentioned the led light color change I did before I lost the house but I have some new pics and stuff of most of it. Enjoy.

This is the video I took when I done the LEDs I never could get the pic to show up good so I just made a vid trying to show you the reflection.
