That wasn't the case. I live on a hill. The road wasn't plowed or ashed yet. Right before the steepest part of the hill I put the transmission in 1st and was going about 10 mph. Car picked up a tiny bit of speed and I TAPPPPPPPED the brakes and ABS engaged and would not disengage. I picked up even more speed as the ABS wouldn't disengage. Right at the bottom of the hill the road breaks 90* to the left. I tried to just cut the wheel and slide around the curve but it didn't work.
I got it turned enough to glance off the guard rails and I think I got away with no damage.
I have NEVER had this problem in a non ABS car. Again I say F*CK ABS.
