What did you do to your Car today?

Struts are only about $50 each, mm $50ish, vc gasket or vc itself?

I was looking at the combo strut/spring all together which were 150-200 on fleabay. And I think just the vc gasket is all I was going to do.

You can buy struts and put your springs on there. Are they really bad like do they clunk?

I thought about my Cutty today. Too cold to go out and put the new KYB struts I got for it in the mail. Even in the heated garage I just don't feel like going out to work on this car. I'll wait for the weather to break from the 20s we have been having.

Yeah, they are clunking on bumpy roads (which is what I drive on daily). It's chewing the rear tires up too (trying to keep them rotated until then)

I won't yet. I probably really won't get rid of it, it was just a thought. I like it and it's dependable and i can afford it, might as well keep it till I can't anymore.

I always liked those cuttys too.

Drove it to work and back, then had the tire patched from a screw and rotated them. Also changed the oil and rerouted the back spark plug wires under the snout.

my brother has one of these.. he despises it. its a tank to drive and you'll be putting fuel in it 2x as much. Seems like he is always doing something to it because things are breaking down. 05 is 8 years old already too.. i'd stick with the Prix if i was you.
