Installed some Hawk HPS brake pads along with some fresh Napa rotors this Thanksgiving evening. Still haven't drove it yet, but I'm excited! While I was doing this I upgraded to the Monte/Impala 12" rotors, so maybe it'll make a difference, if anything who said a placebo was a bad thing?

They don't even get broke in until 200K lol Mine cleans up pretty good for as beat up as the paint is.

The paint could be a ton better on mine. Sad how much its faded

I compounded mine then polished it then waxed it with my cheap buffer and it made a huge difference

I've wetsanded mine with 2000 grit.
Compound and wax.
Made a difference, was still faded lol

I didn't do anything to my car today, just relaxed an ate a big meal with the family. Maybe I'll do some work tonight when the kids are sleeping (the only time I get some peace and quiet).

Drove it on date night tonight and we noticed the tires were being louder than normal...so Lee checked them out once we got home. Rears are chewed up something awful on the inside. I knew they needed rotated but now I really gotta get them done soon. Damn you rear struts.

Fed it some 91 octane and 100 octane, then I smoked Newports and stared at it all day as we both were SUPER FULL......
