What did you do to your Car today?

Changed the oil (in both the Grand Prix and the Montana), and put a new thermostat in. SES went out when the engine was actually able to get to operating temperature! (original owner had put a 180* thermostat in)

Well found the end of the body filler and got it stripped off. Waiting until tomorrow to put new body filler on it now that I got all rust cleaned out and put rust reformer on it. Bought aircraft paint remover today to start on my rims.

180* thermostat shouldn't throw a code unless it's stuck open.

I can't remember what code it was, but basically it meant that my car was never getting to operating temperature. During the summer it was fine, but always had an SES during the winter.

Makes sense...during the winter, the temp guage barely cleared the bottom of the range...

ok the pic is of the 04 -05 GP needles and one that is blue - 07-03 GP style

aircraft is the best stuff i've ever used. also i'll take a pic with the rust reformer done and all the body filler stripped off.

we used aircraft on my buddies charger in the past. that stuff is great

You have to move fast though. also that stuff will pit concrete so if you're using it in your garage or anything like that make sure it doesn't get onto the concrete
