Scott...you shoulda called back...I didn't hear the phone.

Gave it an oil change. Been nearly 3K miles. OLM said 71% left...71 my foot.

I could beat the gt walking if I wanted to lol. I was just surprised. This thing has one of hell of an acceleration rate.... almost impresses me. I was going 80 earlier and the dude wouldn't let me pass him so I punched the gas and blew past him going 105........ I got this thing up to speed faster than my old gt would have... for a ford it almost impressed me

That's because it's DOHC and has like 20 more hp than your gt.
 
Yea just found out that it had 200hp.... not bad for a granny car. Apparently darrell (fiancee's grandpa) has good taste for the most part except when it comes down to brands lol. I figured it'd be the lower model then I looked in the book and found out it was mid.... not complaining as much now that I know I can at least get from point a to point b and have fun doing it.

Its really easy to speed though cuz its a smooth ride.... can't even feel the "stop ahead" ruts barely.... not something i'm used to. Being as its all I got I think i'll survive until my car is done and pretty and drivable again
 
Well i guess they have the same hp but the taurus is just has a better top end. You know the gt is a grandma car too right?
 
It's so weird looking out in the driveway and not seeing my car. Finally get her back on Sunday.
Hopefully she behaves on the way back for the temporary driver.
 


Drove it on the freeway first time in a while. Checked the oil tonight... needs a change but cant complain its been freaking clean for a dang long time and never uses any
